    We missed open enrollment. Do we have to wait?
    Not necessarily. Many families qualify for coverage year-round through Florida KidCare or Medicaid. Life changes such as a move, a new baby, a loss of other coverage, or a change in income can also open a special enrollment period for other programs.

    What if we had Medicaid before and lost it during the past year?
    You may still qualify. Even if you do not, your child might be eligible through Florida KidCare, and adults may have low-cost options. We can help you check quickly.
